Dr. Joanna Henderson is a Clinical Psychologist and an Independent Clinical Scientist with the Child, Youth Family Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Henderson has worked extensively with children and youth with complex behavioural and emotional needs and their families. Currently Dr. Henderson is focused on developing, implementing and evaluating evidence-based practices for addressing the needs of high risk youth, particularly youth with concurrent disorders. Dr. Henderson's research interests also include concurrent disorders, knowledge translation, youth risk-taking, youth gambling and gaming, and the role of family support in improving youth health. In the Connections project, Dr. Henderson is a member of the Core Team with a special interest in collaborative models of service delivery and knowledge translation and exchange.
